A conceptual proposal to supplement the limited space of the very popular heritage building that is the Ferry Building Gallery by developing a substantial underground expansion. This expansion will not impose itself on views from the neighbourhood, and will not detrimentally effect the appearance and character of the existing structure. The roof at grade will be developed as a civic space that can be programmed for numerous outdoor functions.
